Easy Homemade Vanilla Donuts

Who doesn't love a delicious donut in the morning? Better yet, donuts that don't require yeast or frying! Skip your next trip to Krispy Kreme and make your own donuts from home! As I have developed my baking skill, I realized that it's possible to make a lot of your own staple foods at home. Now, donuts might not be a staple food, but they should be! I have been making these donuts for my family every couple of weeks, and my son loves them. What I love most is that this recipe doesn't require a lot of skill or hard-to-find ingredients. It's a dessert you can enjoy that is fast, easy, and affordable!

I made these with my 13 year old today because I’m trying to find ways of including “bonding time” with just her and me (because I also have a 18 month ild). I love that it was quick, delicious and I felt victorious

Just a tip…put your piping bag in a glass and fold itout over the glass. Then put your batter in the piping bag thats in the cup. Makes it easier then holding and will get it a little more toward the bottom so you may not have to work the batter down as much. Can do the same if you make your own frosting and fill a piping bag. But love these! Putting donut pan in future budget cause I hate paying a dollarish a donut and love baking! Ps since your a baker you should check out this easy scone recipe super easy and yummy I left out the extract and everyone devoured these at fathers day brunch. https://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/new-hampshire-maple-walnut-scones-recipe

I haven’t tried this recipe, but I LOVE making donuts for my boys, and did just that this morning. Even though it’s nice to go out and purchase one that someone else made (because variety and funky flavors can be a lot of fun), they really are SO easy to make yourself.

What kind of milk do you use in the frosting?
