My son just started kindergarten this year, and has been learning all about numbers. He loves to count things out, and identify specific numbers he sees outside. He also loves Playdough. So mixing the two together seemed perfect for a fun Fall learning activity.
These 10 Fall themed playdough mats include some of my favorite things about the season. Have your child create legs for a spider, a face for a monster, fruit for a basket, apples for a tree, seeds for a sunflower, and much more. Have your child count out the numbers needed to complete the mat, or have them get creative and add their own favorite Fall item.
Just print them out, laminate them, and start playing. If you don't have access to a laminating machine, you can always use a plastic page protector for each mat.
This activity is not only great for learning about numbers, but it's also a great sensory activity and gets their creative minds working. I hope that your child loves them just as much as my son. Enjoy!
